Our Purpose
To be an enthusiastic family of Christ-centered believers, growing in our love and enjoyment of God and one another, who reach, equip, and mobilize others to become multiplying disciples in Richmond and beyond.
Worship
We know that in Christ, we are welcomed into the very presence of God, and worship is our natural response to this privilege. At the heart of our worship is joyful praise, attesting to His faithfulness, exposition and application of the Bible, and grateful presentation of our offerings. Through the empowering of the Holy Spirit, these elements blend together, taking us into His presence where "there is fullness of joy." Joyfully worship the God of the Ages with us!
Learn
God’s Word must be known if we are to know and obey Him. Sermons, Sunday School for all ages, video group studies, workshops and retreats are all designed to present and encourage the application of God’s Word in your life.
Our ministry to children and youth is a bit unique. We as a church strive to equip and complement parents in their spiritual teaching responsibilities at home, not take over for them. We, therefore, help train and we ask members to participate in our teaching ministry. We are convinced that our on-the-job training will help parents become more skillful and successful in raising families that successfully integrate and encourage the abundant Christian life. God’s Word is calling you - come study and learn with us!
Reach Out
Missions and ministry are some of Grace's top priorities. Whether it's hosting a KidzCamp for neighborhood children, sending youth to Baltimore for a service project or taking several teams a year to visit our "adopted" people group in Peru, Grace is serious about sharing-and living-God's call on our lives.
He continues to bless us with neat opportunities to reach people with His love and to fulfill the Great Commission! Grace is assisting a new Russian church plant, which currently meets in our building, and has also been a leader in reaching out to the large Indian community in Richmond through childcare and several events specifically designed to share God's love with them.
The church has been commissioned by her Lord to make disciples of all nations. Besides that, it’s fun and exciting to see God help and change others’ lives the way we have seen Him work in our own. When opportunities arise to help those in need, we desire to respond not only to the obvious need, but also to the deepest need, which is a genuine intimacy with God through Christ. Therefore, we greatly desire to help start other churches in Richmond and all around the world. Come join us in reaching our generation.
Fellowship
Our growing relationship with God creates whole new opportunities for relationships with others. We are deeply committed to encouraging one another toward love and good works and, sharing our needs and blessings. We have a lot of fun doing this during both planned and spontaneous times.
